Gallery 3

This gallery features paintings I completed over the past 20 years.  I studied Graphic Design at Lcoventry Art College from 1980 to1985 qualifying as a Graphic Designer.

The following year I studied for an art teaching diploma and secured a full time job in 1989 teaching art to 11 to 16 year olds.

I have always enjoyed painting especially in acrylics with airbrush detailing.  Many of my paintings have been commissioned but I try to do my own thing from time to time.

I was inspired in my college days by Roger Dean, an album artist but today my inspiration comes from God who I believe has given me a talent to reach others.

A few years ago I raced remote control nitro cars.  We had a fantastic track built locally and a successful club membership.  I used my airbrush to paint the body shells of my cars.  This was quite difficult as the shells were transparent and had to be painted on the inside.

I used acrylic paints and sealed the final coat to prevent the fuel from disolving it.  If you have ever raced nitro cars you will know how messy and sticky the chassis can get, especially on a wet day.

These are some of my designs.  It always broke my heart when a massive smash demolished half the body shell and I had to start again.
